I feel like every time I go to write a blog is starts with something like “Oh my god it’s been so long since I’ve posted anything!” Well it’s true.. and I could make up excuses but let’s skip the jazz and get to the fun part. Ok. So I’ve been thinking of revamping my “portfolio” site because, really, that’s all I think about when I think about the site. Redesigning it. So I spend a lot of time opening up my site and looking at it, then starting a new one, then going back and forth and back and forth which just leads me back to my favorite inspirational blog posts which feature all kinds of beautiful art and photography. Hours pass and I’m still never happy with my site and I never put it up and I feel like it’s a waste of time because let’s face it- I hate web. I hate dreamweaver and I feel like I have a lot of nice ideas but can never get them the way I like. So then why bother? Who really checks it out anyway.. If only I just keep up with this we can all get along. But really, has it honestly been since Montreal that I posted a post?
I’m due so here is some news: Lately I’ve been working a lot with friends doing some “at home”creative photography work. My beautiful girlfriends have been so great to me and made the transition from trendy Montreal to home-sweet-home Calgary all the better. While doing a revamp of my site I came up with some cute ideas and let’s not let them get to waste.
This is what you’d see at the top of the website, with a little menu on the left.. or the right.. I hadn’t made the final decision. And you would have columns, like reading a newspaper… OK, and the headline in this issue was, of course, Anne and Jocelyn in the latest photoshoot!!
I love love love working with the Hefter twins!! They are the cutest girls to shoot.
I also got to work with a friend of theirs, Jessica Casey- bottom photo.
Hey friends,
I have been such an inactive blogger lately, and I apologize! The blog has kept me going until spring and since I have just been out enjoying the weather and been avoiding the internet as much as possible. That, and I got a new full time job AND been busy starting up a production company.

It could be a great thing! As an artist, I don’t know much about business, so I’m counting on my partners, and all the while it should be very interesting to learn about starting up a business. The whole experience is A+. Some of the live concert photographs I’ve taken are up on our Myspace and our Facebook pages, check em out! Groups we’ve worked with include The Captains Map leads to a Vortex, Endangered Ape, and Nista.
As well, I’ve got a great batch of lovely photos featuring the beautiful Hefter Twins, Jackie and Leanna who are the most adorable and fun girls to work with!
What fun is a night out in Quebec if you can’t get some late night greasy food afterwards at any hour?!! The most desirable and delicious night time snack is a poutine from Rapido on St. Denis!! It has been awarded third place for “Le Meilleure Poutine” by Felicitations! (The best poutine)… If it was up to me I’d give it #1 Le meilleure poutine!
Gotta love those cheese curds, gravy and delicious french fries! Bon Appetite!
Spring has seriously sprung, today is the cutest day of the year in terms of holiday colors combos, animal icons and chocolate Easter bunnies. I’ve never really been educated on the meaning of Easter, all I know is it’s the day of the death and resurrection of Jesus. Coming from a non-Christian family, I always just knew of Easter as the day that the Easter Bunny came and hid eggs around the house. (Also, we had a long weekend).
I would like to avoid looking like an asshole to religious believers and won’t lie but this post is simply to share the cuteness of bunnies that look very similar to other cute animals.
I got these photos in an email from my Nana wishing me a Happy Easter and to Avoid Identity Theft. They are way to cute to not share, and it has been difficult choosing which ones to post. I have no idea who took these photos but since they are running around in email forwards, I will assume they are some kind of Easter stock photos.
The other day I took some 180 shots of bustling Saint Catherine Street in Montreal on one of the first real days of Spring. They turn out to be quite nice little QTVR movies as well.
Sick of traditional long boarding and skateboarding, Jaron is searching for a new way to ride. This fierce board has no wheels, no fins and no motor. It’s seemingly impossible but this thrill seeker does not know the meaning of the word impossible.
Standing outside of Paul’s Boutique, proves how awesome this new sport is. There is a tiny sticker on the window with his face on it.
Jaron is not intimidated by leather jackets or parking lots. He ripped over those parked cars in seconds flat with his keen maroon sweater.
It’s been a long day, and Jaron’s calves are sore. He hauls his new board home.
Would a posting of Montreal’s bright and beautiful colorful double doors be too obvious? overdone? cliche? Able to be picked up at a silly postcard stand? Maybe so…but they are so beautiful, it was bound to happen..
How about if I include a nice hip hop track for you to play in the background while you enjoy the photos?
